Get affordable Funeral Cover for you and your family
Do you need a Funeral Policy?

We have simplified the process of applying for a Funeral Policy, and our aim is not only to reduce the steps it would normally take, but to also educate in the process.

1. Choose a Funeral Plan

Visit our products page and select a suitable funeral plan. Note that our funeral products are categorised by age range.

For main member and spouse aged between 18-64 years, we offer Funeral Plans from as little as R25,00 per month for a R5000,00 cover, to as high as R130 per month for a R30 000,00 Funeral Service.

We also have plans for the elderly, from as little as R60 per month for main members older than 71 years of age.

2. The Application Form

You can email MMK at info@mmka.co.za and request an application form and further guidance.

The Application form is used to collect information that is necessary for MMK to initiate a Funeral Policy, and must be completed in full before a policy can come into existence.

Once this step is completed; a funeral plan has been selected and a suitable payment method is set, the application form is sent back to MMK for processing.

3. Activate your Policy

Once the completed Application Form reaches MMK, you will receive a welcome SMS containing your Policy Number.

Your policy only becomes active once the 1st premium has been received, and it’s at this stage where any applicable waiting period will start.

This policy number can be used when making payments across all our 27 branches, and your EasyPay number can be used to make policy payments at any supermarket that supports EasyPay.

Joining Requirements

When you open a policy with us, we require the following:

ID copy of main member
ID copy/certificates of dependents

Postal and physical address
Cell phone number

First month’s premium
18 Years of age or older

Important Notice

Payment of premiums during waiting period must be continuous (i.e. no payment
can be outstanding or paid late), if a payment is outstanding, the policy will lapse
and applicable waiting period will start again from the date payments are resumed.
